Kronospan Chief Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our team at Kronospan in Morocco. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax and fiscal matters of the company, managing administrative documents, handling import procedures, and ensuring efficient tax recovery for new projects in Morocco.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all tax and fiscal aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage administrative documents, including financial reports, invoices, and receipts.
  • Handle import procedures and customs clearance, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Ensure tax recovery for new projects, working closely with the project team to identify and capitalize on tax savings opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit tax declarations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage interactions with Public Administrations, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Reconcile accounting accounts, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Assist with accounting department tasks, coordinating special projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Resident in Morocco.
  • Proficiency in French is essential.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • 3 years of experience in finance or related fields.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
