Job Summary:

Kronospan Iberia is seeking a Chief Accountant to join our team in Morocco. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all tax and fiscal topics, administrative documents, and import procedures. You will also provide tax advice and consultations, as well as assist with accounting closures and coordination of specific projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover all tax and fiscal topics of the company
  • Manage all administrative documents of the company
  • Manage all procedures for imports and custom clearance
  • Manage tax recovery for new installations and projects in Morocco
  • Liquidation, verification, and presentation of taxes and informative declarations
  • Management/control of requirements and notifications of public administrations
  • Control and reconciliation of accounting accounts
  • Tax advice and consultations
  • Verification procedures (reports, payments to suppliers,...)
  • Accounting closures
  • Assistance to the accounting department (accounting, support to manage queries, mediate with LIRA to solve technical problems,...)
  • Management and coordination of specific projects

Requirements:

  • Residence in Morocco
  • Fluency in French essential
  • High English level
  • 3 years of experience as HR specialist
  • Studies: Degree in Labor relationships/HR/Business or similar
