About the Role

Kronospan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in Morocco. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all tax and fiscal matters for the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all administrative documents, including import and customs clearance procedures.
  • Coordinate tax recovery efforts for new installations and projects in Morocco.
  • Liquidate, verify, and present taxes and informative declarations.
  • Manage and control requirements and notifications from public administrations.
  • Reconcile and control accounting accounts.
  • Provide tax advice and consultations.
  • Verify procedures (reports, payments to suppliers, etc.).
  • Closure of accounting.
  • Assist the accounting department with queries, mediate with LIRA to solve technical problems, and manage specific projects.

Requirements

  • Residence in Morocco.
  • Fluency in French is essential.
  • High English level.
  • 3 years of experience as an HR specialist.
  • Studies: Degree in Labor relationships/HR/Business or similar.
