About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our team at Kronospan Iberia in Morocco. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and support to our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all tax and fiscal matters for the company, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all administrative documents, including import and customs clearance procedures.
  • Coordinate tax recovery efforts for new installations and projects in Morocco, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Liquidate, verify, and present taxes and informative declarations, as well as manage public administration notifications and requirements.
  • Control and reconcile accounting accounts, providing accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Offer tax advice and consultations to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Verify procedures, including reports, payments to suppliers, and accounting closures.
  • Assist the accounting department with queries, mediate with LIRA to resolve technical issues, and manage specific projects.

Requirements

  • Residence in Morocco.
  • Fluency in French is essential, with a high level of English proficiency.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR specialist.
  • Studies in Labor Relationships, HR, or Business.
