Automotive Sales Director

Overview
Group 1 Automotive is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Sales Manager to join our team at our Volkswagen Sevenoaks Retail Centre. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing sales executives, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Support sales executives in negotiating agreements and closing sales.
- Advise on product developments and promotions.
- Monitor inventory levels and advise sales executives.
- Review and improve own sales performance.
- Train and develop sales executives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
Requirements
- A hands-on leader with strong financial awareness.
- Ability to negotiate at all levels with strong leadership skills.
- Motor industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to work to timescales effectively.
- Keen eye for detail, good communication, and a passion for delivering great customer service.
- Strong industry knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure.
