About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving growth and innovation in the agricultural sector. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the agricultural sector, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Proposal Development and Presentation: Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales and Business Development Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, with a strong track record of success in the agricultural sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the agricultural sector, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
