About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team in London West Territory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers in the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual territory sales targets and personal performance objectives.
  • Manage a large geographical sales area, including extensive travel across the territory and occasional travel in the UK and internationally.
  • Represent the Company at evening/weekend exhibitions and seminars, including overnight stays and occasional weekend working.
  • Deliver training programs to retail staff to improve knowledge of CooperVision's products and placement.
  • Form close relationships with Regional Managers and representatives within the account structure to provide the platform for commercial, retail training and educational programs.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience and track record in defining and achieving sales results.
  • Awareness and ability to make a positive impact with prospective, existing customers and others in a coaching style.
  • Enviable track record of achievement (target achievements) gained from organizations that demonstrate and require strong interpersonal skills to influence at all levels of management.
  • Strong relationship builder with enhanced listening and coaching skills.
  • Understanding of investigative questioning and sales process.
  • Highly pro-active and able to work successfully alone as well as within a team to pre-determined objectives.
  • Ability to manage a large geographical sales area.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Experience in the optical industry preferable.
  • Computer literacy including Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential.
