Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/Educational Psychologist or Psychological Practitioner to join our specialist residential college for Autistic individuals.

The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant and established clinical team, working alongside a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Behaviour Support Nurse, Assistant Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietician, and Physiotherapist.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for delivering behaviour support and psychological therapy to both residential and day students at the college.

They will work under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive assessment and intervention, and will also have the opportunity to develop their own supervision skills with Assistant Psychologists and/or Trainee placements.

As part of our large clinical services department, you will have access to clinical and forensic psychologist and AHP colleagues, and will be encouraged to supervise trainee Clinical/Educational Psychologists or other trainee clinicians on placement.
