Job Summary:

We are looking for a confident and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with children who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour, and have learning disabilities such as Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour
  • Work 1:1 with pupils with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour
  • Develop behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training

Requirements:

  • Graduate or experienced teaching assistant with a degree graded 2:2 or above
  • Previous experience working with SEN children desirable
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and ability to commit for the full academic year

Salary and Benefits:

The expected salary is approximately £9,000 - £10,700 per term, depending on experience, plus benefits such as professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment.
