About the Job

We are looking for a dedicated and caring Psychology Teaching Assistant to support students in a school environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of psychology and criminology principles and be able to apply them in practice.

Your key responsibilities will include managing classroom activities, providing one-on-one or group support for students, and creating a safe and inclusive environment that fosters learning and growth.

  • Utilise knowledge of psychology/criminology to understand and support student behaviour, motivation, and social dynamics.
  • Work with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualised plans to support students' academic and personal development.

An estimated salary of around £18-22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess relevant qualifications and training, as well as a genuine interest in supporting young people.

  • A degree in psychology or criminology (or related field).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
