About the Job

This Teaching Assistant role is an excellent opportunity for a psychology or criminology student to gain practical experience while making a meaningful impact on students' lives. As a member of our team, you will work closely with teachers, school counsellors, and other staff to support students in their academic and social development.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply your knowledge of psychology/criminology to understand and support student behaviour, motivation, and social dynamics.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who may have special educational needs, behavioural challenges, or require extra academic assistance.
  • Support the development and implementation of positive behaviour strategies to encourage engagement and participation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a psychology or criminology student with a genuine interest in helping young people. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with both students and adults and work comfortably in a team environment.

Salary: £19,500 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
