Behavioural Mentor Position

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Behavioural Mentor to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a year 7 pupil with ASD who requires one-to-one support with their engagement levels.

As a Behavioural Mentor, you will be responsible for providing targeted support to help the student build confidence, develop self-awareness, and improve their behavior. You will work closely with the school's pastoral team to ensure that the student receives the necessary support to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a year 7 pupil with ASD.
  • Work closely with the school's pastoral team to ensure the student receives necessary support.
  • Develop strategies to improve student engagement and behavior.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Support students with SEND and differentiate instruction within the mainstream classroom.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with behavioral challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of AQA exam board and leader within GCSE's desirable.
