Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Dietitian

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Dietitian to work as a Paediatric Diabetes Specialist within the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. This part-time position is ideal for a specialist Dietitian looking to advance their skills and knowledge or an experienced Dietitian with relevant clinical experience.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of Paediatric patients with Diabetes. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team of Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Dietitians, Dietetic Assistants, and supporting admin and clerical staff who provide a service across social and healthcare boundaries. You will work closely with the Paediatric Diabetes team, Dietitians, and other professionals in both acute and primary care.
About Us
We operate from three main hospitals: Furness General Hospital, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital, as well as community healthcare premises. Our hospitals provide a range of General Hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and various Consultant-led services.
Ability to travel between the Trust sites as required.
