We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of vulnerable children and young people who may be on Child Protection, Child in Need, and Looked After Children plans.

  • Safety planning to protect children and young people from harm.
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet the needs of children and families.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Preparing and presenting court reports to ensure the best interests of children and young people.

About the job requirements

  • A valid full driving licence and access to own transport.
  • A professional social work qualification, such as CQSW or DipSW, or other relevant qualification recognized by Social Work England.
  • Active Social Work England registration.

About our benefits package

  • Competitive salary range of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 29 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years.
