Salary and Benefits:

Job Description:

This role involves providing personal care to residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and help with feeding. You will also administer medication, assist with daily activities, hobbies, or outings, and follow care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures.

One day a week will be assigned to you from management as a Positive Intervention Practitioner. As a Positive Intervention Practitioner, your duties will include upholding high standards of Positive Behaviour Support in line with policy and practice.

You will develop and maintain a special interest in recovery-based approaches and support for people with learning disabilities and/or mental health difficulties.

You will visit and coordinate ongoing behaviour monitoring of challenging behaviours in relevant CHOICE CARE assigned service.

You will assist in the development of interventions aimed to reduce the intensity, frequency, and potential challenge of behaviours that are challenging to the individual and the service.

You will offer clearly specified individual and group work to people who receive Choice Care services under the supervision of the Clinical Lead and/or the Senior Practitioner.

You will facilitate the smooth and efficient implementation of the Care Plan systems within the homes.

Required skills and qualifications include Adult Care Worker Level 2 and Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 qualifications, which will be provided through our Learning Academy.

About Our Homes:

Bramerton, located in Bray near Maidenhead, is a large detached house supporting up to 11 male residents of varying ages, with moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

The property is set in extensive gardens with a greenhouse and vegetable patch, tended by the residents, as well as a small summer house.

There is a dedicated day services building adjacent to the main house, which provides a base for activities including IT and computing, arts and crafts.
