About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Luxury Account Manager to join our team at Diageo. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our key customers in the on-trade sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial plans to drive sales growth and brand awareness among our target customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and account management.
- Work closely with our Luxury Marketing team and Advocacy team to activate our brands in outlets, drive talkability, and increase availability.
- Deliver against distribution and execution targets, including menu creation, activations, and customer engagement.
- Accurately forecast and manage internal performance, ensuring brand visibility in outlets.
- Drive on-trade understanding across Diageo GB, feeding consumer trends into brand and customer teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience, including on-trade and account management.
- Previous experience working with luxury brands and high-end accounts is preferred.
- Deep understanding of what is important to influential on-trade GB customers and the ability to drive the creation and execution of a clear and powerful commercial plan.
- Finger on the pulse of what is happening on the ground in both on-trade and third-space arenas, with brilliant relationships with key influencers in the industry.
- In-depth category knowledge across spirits and the alcohol (& non-alcoholic drinks) categories, with a passion for premium and super-premium brands, customers, and consumers.
- Advanced negotiation and customer relationship-building skills, with robust commercial understanding and P&L literacy.
- Ability to forge strong and effective cross-functional team relationships and confidently interact with senior collaborators internally and externally to deliver business outcomes.
