Senior Cost Manager

We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join our rail cost management team, supporting our continued growth and making a positive impact on UK infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other project stakeholders.
- Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proactively manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives.
- Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
- Drive improvements in forecast and budget accuracy.
- Provide commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
- Ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
Requirements:
- Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred)
- Cost Management
- Change management and control
- Valuation
- Procurement
- Reporting
- Collaborative approach and best-for-project attitude
- Commission management
- Identifying and driving efficiencies and improvements through the project lifecycle
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters
Qualifications:
- Ideally Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent
