Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Costs Lawyer/Assistant Manager to join our team at Cost Law Services Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our costs law services and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of costs professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of our services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve our costs law services, including the development of new business opportunities and the expansion of our client base.
  • Manage and maintain our costs law systems and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to our clients on costs law matters, including the preparation of bills and costs budgets.
  • Collaborate with our senior management team to develop and implement business strategies and objectives.
  • Ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency in our work, including the management of our costs law services and the development of new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in costs law, with a strong background in drafting legal aid and inter partes bills.
  • Proven experience in managing a team of costs professionals, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications and costs law software.
  • Strong academic background, including a law degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
