Job Title: Costs Lawyer/Assistant Manager

Cost Law Services Limited is seeking an experienced Costs Lawyer/Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our costs law team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of costs lawyers and draftspersons, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our costs law services.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business objectives and strategies.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in costs law, with a strong background in drafting legal aid and inter partes bills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
