Apprenticeship Assessor - Engineering

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the development of the next generation of engineers. As an experienced Apprenticeship Assessor - Engineering, you will join the Royal Navy's prestigious Apprenticeship Programme.

You will possess a strong background in engineering, with experience in assessing and mentoring learners. Your responsibilities will include conducting enrolments, providing programme inductions, progress reviews, training delivery, and support services to apprentices studying Aeronautical Engineering.

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the modernisation of Royal Navy training, as part of the Transformational Training programme. The Selborne initiative aims to deliver better-trained sailors to the front line faster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all enrolments for learners in Aeronautical Engineering
  • Provide apprenticeship programme inductions, progress review assurances, training delivery, and support services to apprentices studying Engineering (Aeronautical)
  • Remote assessing of apprentices

Requirements:

  • Qualification and/or background in Engineering is essential
  • Experience in assessing within adult learning/education is desirable
  • Familiarity with Aeronautical/Airline industry would be beneficial
  • Proficiency in the use of technology to support learning delivery (MS Office)
