Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Support Officer to join our Transformation Unit. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Workforce Information Team in collecting, collating, and presenting workforce data.

You will be responsible for assisting with the standardization, updating, and cleansing of data within the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system. Additionally, you will utilize ESR effectively, including generating and manipulating accurate data reports required to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.

This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Main Duties of the Job
  1. To collect, collate, analyze, and manipulate data to produce statistical reports and analysis using effective Excel and Word skills.

  2. To achieve and maintain an in-depth understanding of all functions of the ESR system through ongoing self-development.

  3. Create, maintain, and document ESR self-service hierarchies.

  4. Follow approved policies and procedures to register, update, and remove user access rights to third-party systems.

  5. Deliver specialist training on the ESR system – self-service and e-learning access.

Person Specification - Qualifications
  • Maths GCSE grade 4 or above or functional skills equivalent.
  • English GCSE grade 4 or above or functional skills equivalent.
Experience
  • Data input.
  • Utilising coding, macros, and formulas.
  • Customer Service.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
  • Ability to use common Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using and manipulating spreadsheets.
