Job Description: Office Support Specialist

We are looking for an Office Support Specialist to assist a bed-bound adult with daily administrative tasks, ensuring their independence and dignity. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and values discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing correspondence, making phone calls, and preparing budgets
  • Supporting with online tasks, such as email management and data entry
  • Providing general office support, including form filling and document preparation

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • I.T. and word processing skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week

What We Offer:

  • Hourly rate: £13.00
  • Reimbursement of expenses incurred during work hours
  • Annual holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 weeks of work
  • Free care skills training provided

Selection Criteria:

  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS check
  • Satisfactory references from two referees
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 1 month
