Children's Support Coordinator

The Transformation Unit is seeking a highly organized and effective Transfer Flow Specialist to contribute to efficient capacity and flow within the Trust. As part of the Site Management Team, this role will focus on the transfer of patients around the Trust under the direction of the Clinical Site Manager.
This position involves frequent long periods of standing and walking, as well as moderate physical effort for short periods during a shift. The post holder must be able to handle distressing or emotional circumstances with tact, empathy, integrity, and strict adherence to relevant Trust policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Routinely communicate in a professional and courteous manner with various stakeholders, including colleagues, staff members, patients, visitors, and representatives from external agencies.
- Recognize and respond to communication barriers, such as cultural or language differences, physical or mental special needs, and age-related requirements.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Literacy and numeracy skills, with a minimum of 5 GCSE grades C or above, including English and Maths.
- Knowledge of a range of Trust policies and procedures.
