Academics Ltd: Graduate Psychologist Student Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a motivated and caring Graduate Psychologist Student to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of young children in Key Stage 1 or 2.

**About the Role:**

  • You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to create a fun and stimulating learning environment that promotes the emotional and academic well-being of our pupils.
  • As a Graduate Psychologist Student, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in education, working with children who require additional support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supporting KS1/KS2 pupils with their initial growth and development as a Primary School Teaching Assistant.
  • Providing emotional support and building rapport with our Witney-based children.
  • Working with staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Comfortable supporting SEN requirements, including ASD, Autism, and challenging behaviour.

**Requirements:**

  • A graduate degree (or above) with a strong interest in young children's development and mechanisms to support any concerns.
  • Previous experience working with children, education, or Psychology is desirable.
  • Must hold a DBS certification or willingness to obtain one; employment is subject to the DBS being cleared to be safe to work with children.

**What We Offer:**

  • An estimated salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
