Vast Services: Investing in communities is seeking 6 dedicated volunteers to assist with providing emotional and practical support to bereaved families and witnesses attending inquests at Stoke on Trent Coroner's Court.
This role involves providing emotional support to those attending inquests, assisting Coroners' Officers as needed, and undertaking administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to one day (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) per fortnight.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support to those attending inquests.
- Assist Coroners' Officers as needed.
- Compile volunteer rotas and record statistical information.
- Attend regular support meetings and training sessions.
What You'll Get Out of It
- Reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses.
- Induction, initial, and top-up/refresher training.
- DBS check reimbursement.
Estimated Salary: £12,000 - £15,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
