Educational Support Specialist for SEMH Pupils

We are currently seeking an experienced SEN/SEMH Educational Support Specialist to join our team at Connex Education in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers a challenging but rewarding environment where you will play a vital part in ensuring the pupil has the support they need to thrive.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver Personalised Support: Assist pupils with complex SEMH needs, ensuring engagement and progress in their learning.
- Adapt Lesson Plans: Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit individual learning styles and needs.
- Social and Emotional Development: Support students' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
- Create a Safe Learning Environment: Establish a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Collaborate with Professionals: Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
**Essential Requirements:**
- SEN Experience: Previous experience of assisting pupils with severe learning difficulties and/or Autism Spectrum Conditions.
- Motivation and Inspiration: Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- Vision for Special Needs: Clear understanding of the requirements of pupils with special educational needs.
- Parental Partnership: Ability to work with parents as partners.
- Personal Resilience: Strong personal resilience.
