We are seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for processing and verifying invoices, performing data entry, and coordinating with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
Main Responsibilities:- Efficiently process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data entry related to invoices and expenses in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any invoice discrepancies, maintaining strong relationships and communication.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports, highlighting key trends and issues.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices, with experience in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent numerical and data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
- An estimated salary range of £21,000-£23,000 per annum, depending on experience.
