We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team at Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare and information to the public.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing a wide range of healthcare problems, including minor illnesses and injuries. They will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and manage a team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering day-to-day supervision, promoting the development and effectiveness of the nurse-led service, and maintaining effective channels of communication within the team and across the wider health and social care economy.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, exercising independent and professional judgment in managing or referring clients to various primary and secondary care services as appropriate.
* Supervise and maintain high standards of professional care in accordance with current NMC Code of Professional Conduct, Scope of Professional Practice, and ethical considerations.
* Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines, proposing changes where necessary.
* Collaborate with the Clinical Lead/Operational Manager in the coordination of services and patients within the Urgent Treatment Centre.
Requirements
This role requires a Registered Nurse (Adult and/or Paeds) or Paramedic Practitioner with significant leadership experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have non-medical prescribing qualifications and incorporate evidence-based practice in patient-centered care. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate effective and clear communication in dealing with sensitive or volatile situations.
What We Offer
Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and generous annual leave entitlement.
