Senior Child Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a Senior Child Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Devon. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide specialist mental health support.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement tailored interventions, and provide guidance and training to colleagues, families, and partner agencies.
As a senior practitioner, you will also participate in team meetings, engage in professional development opportunities, and maintain accurate records of your interactions.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative care pathways for neurodiverse children and young people in Devon.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based interventions for neurodiverse children and young people.
- Provide expert guidance, advice, and training to colleagues, families, and partner agencies.
- Participate in team meetings and engage in professional development opportunities.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to ensure high-quality intervention and support.
- Professional registration/accreditation with a recognised body (e.g., NMC, HCPC, Social Work England, UKCP, BABCP).
- Recognised qualification in evidenced-based therapeutic, mental health interventions for children/young people and their families/carers.
- Substantial experience of managing an extensive and complex caseload and working with children/young people presenting with a range of complex mental health presentations.
- Experience of delivering model-based psychological therapy.
£49,239 - £58,683 per annum.
