About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Neurodiversity Support Practitioner in Devon. You will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide specialist mental health support, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored interventions.

As a senior practitioner, you will also participate in team meetings, engage in professional development opportunities, and maintain accurate records of your interactions.

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the development of innovative care pathways for neurodiverse children and young people in Devon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement tailored interventions for neurodiverse children and young people.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and training to colleagues, families, and partner agencies.
  • Participate in team meetings and engage in professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular supervision and mentoring sessions to ensure high-quality intervention and support.
Requirements:
  • Professional registration/accreditation with a recognised body (e.g., NMC, HCPC, Social Work England, UKCP, BABCP).
  • Recognised qualification in evidenced-based therapeutic, mental health interventions for children/young people and their families/carers.
  • Substantial experience of managing an extensive and complex caseload and working with children/young people presenting with a range of complex mental health presentations.
  • Experience of delivering model-based psychological therapy.
Salary:

£45,727 - £54,035 per annum.
