Career Opportunity: Part-Time Tutor/Assessor - Carpentry

Newcastle Perms (296) is seeking a skilled professional to join their dynamic team as a Part-Time Tutor/Assessor for Carpentry. This role offers a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of apprentices while being part of a well-regarded Further Education and Apprenticeship provider.

**Salary:** £28,763 - £33,430 per annum, pro-rata
**Contract:** Permanent, Part-time (22.5 hours per week)
**Pension:** Teachers' Pension Scheme
**Benefits:** 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (Pro-rata), Bupa healthcare, free gym access, on-site parking with EV charging, and course discounts.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure timely completion of apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver training and assessment to meet learner and employer needs.
  • Provide guidance on progression, end-point assessments (EPA), and support learners throughout their training.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of off-the-job training and support learners in their professional development.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 relevant vocational qualification in Carpentry.
  • Level 3 TAQA or equivalent (A1 or similar).
  • Vocational competence in Carpentry.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
