The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with a good understanding of health and safety legislation. A qualification in plumbing, joinery, or electrical systems is highly desirable, as well as previous experience in domestic electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To carry out high-quality repair and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and decorating.
  • To complete reactive maintenance tasks promptly and to a consistently high standard.
  • To oversee planned maintenance tasks, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, fire extinguisher inspections, water hygiene flushing, and temperature monitoring.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of H&S legislation.
  • To be qualified in either plumbing, joinery, or electrical systems is desirable.
  • Previous experience of domestic electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.

Salary: £31,000 - £41,000 per annum. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm. 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am to 5pm on a rota basis.
