About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified Nurses or Paramedics to join Mountain Healthcare Ltd as Forensic Custody Healthcare Professionals.

As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.

The role involves providing high-quality care to detainees in custody suites, including assessing and caring for their physical and mental health needs.

You will also be responsible for collecting forensic samples, which can assist the police with their investigations.

Experience in forensics is not necessary, as full training and support will be provided.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience and hold a valid nursing or paramedic registration.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic
  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Acute medical healthcare experience
  • Previous experience in any of the following: A&E, walk-in centre, substance misuse, community nursing, police custody, prison, as a Paramedic Practitioner, Registered Nurse or other relevant discipline

Working Hours

The role operates on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, providing a good work-life balance and allowing for personal planning months in advance.
