Job Summary

As a Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist with the NHS, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, clinically robust care to patients with complex wounds. This is a full-time band 7 position that requires you to work within the Northwest locality of Surrey.

You will be part of a team of 4 advanced level nurses who provide expert care to patients in their own homes, nursing homes, residential homes, GP surgeries, and the Community Hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Providing specialist interdisciplinary education and training to other healthcare professionals and students.
  2. Participating in research in the specialist field.

Key skills and qualifications include: Advances in wound management, tissue viability, and vascular nursing.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
