About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join our team as a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and lively environment, providing high-quality care to detainees and their needs.

As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.

Previous experience in acute medical healthcare, substance misuse, or community nursing is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forensic sampling and collection of evidence
  • Assessment and care of detainees and staff in custody suites
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies and promoting good personal healthcare
  • Working with Liaison and Diversion to identify any mental health needs

  • Qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
