Job Title: Subject Leader - Mathematics

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Subject Leader - Mathematics to join our team at United Learning. As a key member of our Mathematics department, you will be responsible for leading and developing the curriculum, teaching, and learning strategies to ensure high standards of achievement for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Mathematics curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Lead and manage a team of Mathematics teachers to ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective assessment and reporting procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of Mathematics department policies and procedures.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Mathematics teachers to support their professional development.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in Mathematics education.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding teaching and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of teachers.
  • Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
