Job Summary:

Barnet and Southgate College is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead the development and implementation of our Mathematics curriculum for 16-18 year olds on Education Programmes for Young People.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver innovative curriculum programmes that meet the needs of our students and align with the College's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with teaching teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching and learning methodologies and strategies to inform curriculum design and delivery.
  • Lead the area effectively and efficiently, ensuring high-quality outcomes for students.
  • Contribute to the development of the College's curriculum strategy and policy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in curriculum leadership and development, preferably in a further education setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of teaching and learning methodologies and strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
