About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Advisor to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a People Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing professional and efficient people support to all stakeholders within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the site's recruitment activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all candidates.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for all colleagues for all employee relations issues, providing advice and guidance in line with company policies and procedures, employment law, and best practice.
  3. Support Managers in all employee relations meetings, ensuring that all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Undertake and manage HR administration, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  5. Organize and coordinate the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a seamless transition into the business.
  6. Proactively manage short and long-term sickness absence, working closely with managers and employees to identify and implement solutions.
  7. Run and manage people surveys on all projects, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  8. Produce weekly and monthly reports on a range of People's KPIs, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in an HR environment, a minimum of 3 years+
  2. Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  3. Personable with strong communication and relationship-building capabilities
  4. Experience in advising and working with senior members of staff
  5. Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
  6. Qualified to CIPD Level 5
