Dementia Support Facilitator

We are looking for an experienced Dementia Support Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our community engagement team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities and providing support to people with a dementia diagnosis and their carers. This role involves leading face-to-face and online groups across North Somerset, Bristol, and South Gloucestershire.
**Job Summary**
As our Dementia Support Facilitator, you will provide a supportive environment for group members and have excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our team to ensure a seamless delivery of services and contribute to the overall success of our organization. Your experience working with people with dementia and their carers will enable you to develop and deliver engaging activities that promote social interaction and support.
**Responsibilities:**
* Lead face-to-face and online groups for people with a dementia diagnosis and their carers
* Develop and implement engaging activities that promote social interaction and support
* Collaborate with our team to ensure effective service delivery
* Provide excellent customer service and support to group members
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required
**Requirements:**
* Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, education)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Experience working with people with dementia and their carers
* Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable)
