About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Dementia Activity Coordinator to join our team in Luton. As a Group Facilitator Volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting the running of our group services for people affected by dementia under the age of 65 and their carers.

The ideal candidate will be aware of or willing to learn about dementia and its impact on people, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our team to plan and deliver activities that promote socialisation, support, and information for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of activities for people affected by dementia and their carers.
  • Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for members to engage in meaningful activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth running of group services.

Requirements:

  • Able to travel independently across Luton.
  • Minimum age 18.
  • Willingness to learn about dementia and its impact on people.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £24,000 - £30,000 per annum.
