About the School

We are a historical school based on the outskirts of Sevenoaks, providing education and therapy for children in Year 5-13 who have a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges.

Our school provides a highly specialised curriculum that aims to help all students reach their full potential. We offer a range of therapies including speech and language, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, play therapy, and holistic massage therapy.

Job Description

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the child and our experienced teaching staff to provide academic and emotional support.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Empathetic and able to build relationships quickly
  • Clear communicator
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

Benefits

This is a part-time role with a salary of £85-£100 per day, paid term-time only. You will work Monday-Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm with 5 hours of work per week.
