Job Title: Learning and Development Assistant

CV-Library is seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Assistant to join our team in Maidstone. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children.

About the Opportunity:

  • You will work closely with students in a Year 4 and 5 class, providing individual support to a student with autism and assisting a small group of boys with SEMH needs.
  • A supportive environment ensures that you will receive the guidance and resources needed to effectively support students' needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • No prior experience working with children with autism or SEMH needs is required; however, it is advantageous.
  • A strong commitment to supporting children's development and helping them achieve their full potential is essential.
  • You must be willing to work flexibly, including in the classroom and outdoors as required.
  • An enhanced Child-Only DBS check is mandatory.

Annual Salary: Approximately £22,000
