We are looking for a highly skilled and caring Inclusive Learning Assistant to join our team at a progressive school in Gillingham. As part of our dynamic group, you will provide personalized support to students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess the skills to address the personal and academic needs of children with special educational needs (SEN). While prior experience with SEN children is advantageous, we also welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to make a positive impact.

You will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with additional needs, working closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties, and assisting with classroom management and organization.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Education and Childcare
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The estimated annual salary for this role is £42,000 based on 190 days of work, with an hourly rate of approximately £44 per hour.
