Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Associate to join our team at Twenty4seveneducation.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide tailored support to students in a primary school setting, working closely with class teachers to adapt lesson plans and materials for students with diverse learning needs.

You will collaborate with our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting with a focus on SEN
  • Strong understanding of different SEN conditions and effective strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with SEN
