Tank Farm Team Leader

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a seasoned leader to join our team at Nine Twenty. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee various areas within our plant, driving leadership, compliance, improvements, projects, and budgetary management.

This role will appeal to individuals with a background in engineering, particularly chemical or mechanical engineering, who have transitioned into operations management. You will have the autonomy to drive your area forward, with support for career development and a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all operational activities are conducted in accordance with relevant site and regulatory health and safety regulations.
  • Develop a positive safety culture, encouraging coordinators and team members to identify and address non-conforming processes or actions.
  • Oversee the completion of compliance documentation associated with each function and regulatory bodies.
  • Deliver year-on-year budgeted requirements for new make and mature spirit dispatches to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure dispatches are completed on time, in full, with emphasis on spirit quality adherence.
  • Adapt to a changing operational environment and implement effective recovery plans.
  • Identify and deliver operational improvements, constructing business cases for capital investment and supporting project delivery.
  • Manage and develop reporting lines with area leaders to facilitate clear communication to site leadership.
  • Engage with local teams to identify challenges and create opportunities for development.
  • Proactively engage with internal support functions to align ways of working throughout the supply chain.
  • Create opportunities for personal and professional development of team members.
  • Ensure close control of policy for underperforming team members and manage accordingly.
  • Develop year-on-year budget forecasts with close adherence to actual spend.
