Support Worker for Children and Young People

At Carepro Ltd UK, we are seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Children and Young People to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our team, you will provide tailored support to children, young people, and families, collaborating with local authorities, schools, and professionals to ensure positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered support to children, young people, and families
- Engage families in support plans to promote positive change
- Safeguard and promote children's welfare, adhering to local and national safeguarding policies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience working with children, young people, or families in a support role
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices
- Enhanced DBS check required, with references covering the last 3 years
