Our European Competition Practice provides expert economic advice on competition policy, economic and financial regulation, public policy, and the assessment of damages in complex disputes.

We are seeking a Research Analyst to join our team as part of a Master's Apprenticeship programme. As a Research Analyst, you will be an integral part of a project team tasked with advising on the competitive impact of a merger or conduct.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Analyse and interpret significant amounts of client data to understand how competition works in your client's industry.
  • Research how firms compete with each other and identify the most important variables that affect their decision-making processes.
  • Take responsibility for quality control and ensure accuracy and error-free work product.
  • Draft reports, interpret, and summarise analysis.

**Requirements:**

  • Undergraduate degree in economics, ideally with a focus on microeconomics, industrial organisation, and/or econometrics.
  • Stata and Excel skills desirable.
