Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using Tableau, ensuring data visualizations are accurate, timely, and actionable.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into data-driven insights.
  • Design and implement data visualizations that drive business decisions, using best practice guidelines and industry standards.
  • Present findings to stakeholders, iterating on dashboards to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, leveraging Tableau to visualize and streamline data.
  • Provide end-user training in Tableau, ensuring users can effectively utilize the platform.
  • Contribute to the development of a Tableau community within the organization, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to best practice visualization standards, maintaining high-quality data across BI applications.
  • Gather new business requirements and collaborate closely with users to deliver optimized BI solutions.

Indicators of Success

Requirements

  • Proven experience building and enhancing Tableau workbooks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and passion for success in a dynamic environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with Tableau Online or Tableau Server.
  • Knowledge of best practice data visualization techniques.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working with subscription-based data sets and related metrics.
  • Tableau certification.
  • Experience using Snowflake or SQL Server.
  • Tableau Public profile.
