Counsellor - East London Rape Crisis Service

About the role
The Young Women and Girls Counsellor will work with survivors of sexual violence, providing them with a safe and supportive environment to share their experiences. You will develop and deliver a comprehensive counselling programme tailored to meet the specific needs of this vulnerable group.
In collaboration with the team, you will identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the service delivery. Your strong communication skills will enable effective liaison with external agencies and professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a 'can-do' approach and be committed to nia's feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. A salary of approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role.
