About the Role
">We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Psychology graduate to join our team as an SEN Support Assistant in a secondary school in Barnet.
">As an SEN Support Assistant, you will work alongside qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists, learning first-hand about supporting students with diverse special educational needs.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students' learning
- Have a calming and nurturing nature around vulnerable children
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students
Requirements
">Minimum 2:1 Psychology-related degree from a top 20 UK university
">Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable
">A salary of £21,400 - £25,000 per annum (pro-rata for term-time only) or £420-£500 per week (paid weekly on PAYE basis)
